Blog assignment 8

I watched a Japanese video called 「A Day in Tokyo – Life in Japan」 on YouTube. It showed a normal day in Tokyo with people walking, eating, and working. The video was in Japanese, and I listened carefully to the sounds and how people speak. I didn’t understand most of it, but I liked the soft tone and polite way of talking. It was fun to see how people live in Japan. I want to learn more words so I can understand better next time!

Blog assignment 6

I watched a YouTube video called 「4K Virtual Tokyo, Japan - Ueno Park Early Morning Walk」 . It features a peaceful stroll through Ueno Park in Tokyo during the early morning. The video is in Japanese without subtitles, but I enjoyed listening to the natural sounds and observing the serene atmosphere. It was relaxing to see the quiet paths, blooming cherry blossoms, and people starting their day. Even without understanding the language, I felt immersed in the calmness of a Tokyo morning.

Blog assignment 5

I watched a YouTube video called 「京都の早朝散歩|Kyoto Early Morning Walk」 by Rion Ishida. He walked around Kyoto early in the morning, visiting shrines and old streets. I didn’t catch everything he said, but his calm way of speaking matched the peaceful vibe. It made me realize how quiet and respectful Japanese culture can be. I really enjoyed it and now I want to visit Kyoto someday!
