Japanese Video

 Today, I watched a Japanese interview video, and it was one of my favorite listening experiences so far.

このビデオは、にほんごのインタビューです。

The video is an interview with Kazu from Kazu Languages, who is my favorite YouTuber.

Kazu さんは日本人 です。

そして、polyglot（多言語話者）です。

Kazu-san can speak 14 languages fluently, and if we include languages that he is not fluent in but still understands a little, the number goes up to around 60 languages.

Kazu さんは、いろいろな げんご が わかります。

I watch his videos very often, and I have watched all of his videos. His videos include Spanish, French, German, Russian, Chinese, Korean, and many other languages.

とても すごい です。

What I like most about Kazu is that he uses languages in real life. Sometimes, he talks with people from different countries online. Sometimes, he travels to other countries and talks with local people.

Kazu さんは、とても頭がいいです。そして、とても努力します。

In this interview, Kazu talks about why he started liking languages. When he was a child, he liked music and foreign cultures. He mentioned Michael Jackson, and explained that music helped him become interested in English.

こどもの とき、おんがく が すきでした。

それで、外国 の 文化 が すきでした。

He also said that Spanish became his strongest language because he went to Spain. After that, he started learning other Western languages. About six years ago, he saw a Billboard chart with songs by many artists, and he wanted to understand the words in the songs.

それから、がいこく の ことば を がんばりました。

At the end of the video, Kazu gives advice about learning languages. He says that you do not need to be perfect. Making mistakes is okay.
